Our Belief

At Nirvaana, we believe that every individual is unique, and therefore every yoga journey should be unique.

For over 25 years, our work with students, wellness seekers, and yoga practitioners has reinforced a simple truth: meaningful progress happens when yoga is adapted to the individual.

This belief has guided our teaching, therapeutic approach, and the evolution of Nirvaana from the very beginning.

Empowering daily growth through personalized yoga
for a healthy and happy life.

The reality of Group Yoga

As our community grew, we faced a challenge common to most yoga studios.

While group classes create a supportive learning environment, every participant enters the class with different goals, health conditions, limitations, and levels of experience.

Yet the teacher often has only a limited opportunity to personalize the practice for each individual.

We began asking ourselves an important question:

How can we make personalized yoga possible, even within a group learning environment?

How We Approached Personalization

To make personalized yoga practical within a studio environment, we developed a structured approach to understanding each individual’s health profile, goals, challenges, and progress.

Every practitioner begins with a detailed consultation, allowing our teachers to gain a deeper understanding of their unique needs. Based on this assessment, a personalized yoga practice is designed and continuously refined as the individual progresses.

Over the years, this evolved into Nirvaana’s proprietary Asana Sheet methodology—a structured framework that helps our teachers track progress, adapt practices, and provide more personalized guidance throughout the journey.

Rather than following a fixed routine, practitioners receive evolving recommendations that reflect their changing needs, goals, and progress.

How It All Began

“What began as a passion for sharing the transformative benefits of yoga gradually evolved into a mission to make yoga more personal, accessible, and meaningful.

Over the years, through teaching, therapeutic practice, and working closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, we witnessed firsthand that every person responds differently to yoga. This realization strengthened our belief that meaningful progress comes not from a one-size-fits-all approach, but from understanding the unique needs of each individual.

From these humble beginnings, Nirvaana continued to grow—guided by a commitment to personalized yoga, continuous learning, and the wellbeing of the communities we serve.”
